Hong Kong has staged its traditional "Fire Dragon Dance" event to celebrate the Mid-autumn Festival. Colorful lights along with a huge carp lantern lit up Victoria Park. People placed candles on the head of the fire dragon, to symbolize getting rid of the bad luck and ensuring an auspicious future. The event has a history of more than 100 years, and has just been listed in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage. About 300 performers took part in the event this year, waving fire dragons through the streets. And the huge carp lantern is another attraction for the celebration. The lantern made of more than 1,000 lights, has just been awarded the "biggest lantern in the world" by Guinness World Records.
