Hong Kong actor-cum-singer Leo Ku had his left eye injured by a flying piece of a firecracker when attending a promotion event on Saturday.

The accident had caused a small blood vessel to pop, leaving the actor's eye mildly scratched, and his cornea swelling. Fortunately, his doctor reports that the eye is safe.

Asked whether or not he will be demanding compensation from the event's organizers, Leo said that he see no point in doing so. Accidents, he claims, can never be predicted.
