A 150-meter-tall hotel designed in the shape of a ping-pong racket will be built in Huainan city, East China's Anhui province.
安徽淮南打算建一棟150米高、乒乓球拍形狀的旅館

The hotel, located in a planned Olympic park covering an area of over 1,000 mu (67 hectares), has an estimated investment of 300 million yuan. It will feature three parts, the top designed for sight-seeing, the middle will house guest rooms, and bottom used for conference facilities.
這棟建筑是建在一個規(guī)劃中的奧林匹克公園內(nèi)，園區(qū)占地面積一千畝，預(yù)計投資三億人民幣。園區(qū)包含三大部分：景觀區(qū)、旅館區(qū)和會議設(shè)施。

"The design idea is from ping-pong. An erected ping-pong racket has a perfect architectural shape for a hotel," said Jin Chang, director with Huainan Municipal Bureau of Sports.
淮南市體育局的局長表示，建筑的設(shè)計靈感確實來自乒乓球拍，直立的球拍形狀很適合作為旅館的建筑外形。

The buildings were all designed by Mei Jikui, a renowned architect for sports structures. Supporting facilities such as a swimming pool are also included in the plans.
規(guī)劃中的奧林匹克園區(qū)建筑都是由體育建筑專家梅季魁設(shè)計的。園區(qū)中還會有一個游泳池。
