I prefer to live on campus.
First of all, living with someone else won't make you feel alone, it's a good way to make friends by sharing experiences, opinions and feelings with your roommates. Moreover, living with others helps in teaching you how to get along with different groups of people and how to care and offer help to others, which will benefit your communication skills. I also believe that living with roommates will make life more alive and interesting. So I'd like someone to live with me.
Besides, in my opinion, it is better for freshmen living in the same dormitory as other students. Living together offers the students to communicate more often, which is especially helpful for freshmen. If the freshmen have any problem with the study, they could simply go upstairs or downstairs asking for help from their predecessors.
2 What are the changes that you would like to make to your lifestyles in order to improve your health?
Frankly speaking ,I don't think I have a healthy lifestyle. With the development of technology, many young people are less concerned about their health. They rarely go to the gym because they are too preoccupied elsewhere; they do not take effective measures against stress.Personally, if I were to improve my overall well-being, I would choose to make changes to the amount of exercise I get.
First of all, doing sports is a great way of staying in shape, which is vital to our health. In order to do so, some people might say that a healthy diet is the most important factor, but in reality, a healthy diet alone cannot guarantee a slim body because without doing aerobic exercises to burn off the calories we ingest, no matter how little we eat, the calories will accumulate in our body in the form of fat. As a result, exercises are indeed vital to staying in shape. Besides, not staying in shape can have disastrous outcomes. For example, obesity can add to the pressure experienced by our heart and cause cardiac diseases; obesity can also lead to high blood sugar and eventually diabetes.
Second , after playing sports, people always have an extraordinary sensation of happiness and gratification, which is of great help for us to stay positive mentally. In fact, studies have shown that sports enthusiasts are far less likely to develop mental conditions such as insomnia and depression, because people usually have a great appetite and can better assimilate the nutrients ingested in the following meal. In addition, playing sports can also be an excellent stress reliever.
In a nutshell, I tend to believe that so as to improve my overall health, making changes in the amount of physical exercise I get is effective.
