現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)很難想象一個沒有埃菲爾鐵塔的巴黎了，但這座地標在剛剛修建的時候其實激起了民憤，巴黎人覺得這個鐵怪物又大又丑，而且和巴黎的風(fēng)格完全不搭。

當(dāng)時這座塔是作為1889年世博會的入口修建的，本來說放20年就拆，但現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)放了130多年了，真香。

The Eiffel Tower was actually only meant to be the entrance to the Paris World’s Fair in 1889. The agreement was that it was to stand for 20 years after, and then be taken down, but over a century on and as one of the world’s most famous sights, it’s safe to say it isn’t going anywhere. Now it’s over 130 years old, but it is still one of Paris’ youngest landmarks by comparison.?
