BBC?America's Killing Eve, about a female assassin and the MI5 officer chasing her, took the world by storm last year.

Now the show is gearing up for a highly?anticipated?second season, set to kick off April 7.

Eve has no idea if Villanelle is alive after she stabbed her at the end of Season 1 because the wounded assassin escaped her flat before Eve could help her.?

Of course, based on the first images of the new season (and because there wouldn't be a show without her), we know that Villanelle has survived and is only wounded.

She noted that Eve stabbing Villanelle will affect both characters in a way that neither woman is expecting.

"You see them vulnerable in slightly different ways because they've crossed a line and there's kind of no going back," added Sandra Oh who plays the role of Eve.?

The women weren't very forthcoming when discussing where the show would take viewers in Season 2 — whenever possible, they actually film on location — but executive producer Woodward-Gentle did confirm we'll visit Rome in Season 2 before also hinting at locations via food, including hagelslag, which is from the Netherlands.
