To help carry on the ancient theatrical art of China, a charity donation of audio and video materials of traditional Chinese operas was held in Beijing on Wednesday. What's unique for the batch of publications is that all the traditional operas are adapted into the form of animation, introducing the age-old art forms to China's younger generation with a more accessible and friendly manner.

Practitioners in the nation's Peking Opera circle have joined forces in bringing China's younger generation closer to the traditional Chinese theatrical art. With the aid of Hunan Provincial Peking Opera Troupe and non-governmental foundations, more than twenty different local opera forms have been adapted into animated films, making traditional arts more accessible for modern-day kids.

Li Jianfeng, Producer, said, "Children love cartoons! So I think this is a perfect way to introduce them to traditional Chinese art."
