She may have been given Toni Braxton's seal of approval, but that doesn't stop Jessie J from going up against other singing hopefuls as the star is reportedly set to compete in a Chinese singing competition.

The 29-year-old, who previously appeared as a judge on The Voice UK and Australia, is reported to be going up against several world renowned vocalists on Hunan TV's The Singer 2018.
現(xiàn)年二十九歲的Jessie之前擔(dān)任《英國之聲》及《澳大利亞之聲》的音樂導(dǎo)師被曝將要來2018湖南衛(wèi)視《歌手》節(jié)目來對抗幾位世界級的歌手。

The Chinese television series first started in January 2017 after undergoing a re-brand from it’s previous format, I Am A Singer. The new show structure now allows singers to compete, but also incorporates MCing, with the star's music partners taking up the role of hosting. This year’s competition will see Jessie J go head-to-head with Chinese rock star Wang Feng, Taiwanese pop star Angela Chang and Taiwanese singer Sam Lee.
《歌手》這檔節(jié)目是之前《我是歌手》的升級版，首映于2017年1月。節(jié)目中的游戲規(guī)則讓歌手們相互競爭，還有即興說唱環(huán)節(jié)和同臺對手一起主持。在今年的節(jié)目中我們會看到結(jié)石姐和中國搖滾歌手汪峰，臺灣歌手張韶涵以及李圣杰。

According to StraitsTimes, the British songwriter arrived in China for the recording of the series on Tuesday 2 January, at the same time as the final line up was released. After completing her time as a judge on both The Voice UK and Australia, Jessie vocalised that she was stepping away from the programme to focus on her singing again.
據(jù)《海峽時報(bào)》的報(bào)道，1月2日周日這位英國歌手就會抵達(dá)中國來錄制節(jié)目，同時最終的檔期也會發(fā)布。在擔(dān)任了《英國之聲》及《澳大利亞之聲》音樂導(dǎo)師之后，Jessie坦言她對于歌唱類的綜藝節(jié)目敬而遠(yuǎn)之了。

She explained: ‘It's really time consuming and if I'm being honest with you, I get to the point where I'm in the chair and I just wanna sing.’ Continuing she said: ‘I'm sitting there and I want to tell them, “You have to do it better and I’m trying to coach you, but I just want to make it a duet.” So I know it's time.’
她解釋道：“老實(shí)說（參加節(jié)目）很花時間，我做評委席上，我只想唱歌?！彼又f：“我坐在那里告訴他們，你可以做得更高，我會給你指導(dǎo)，而事實(shí)上我只想和他們一起合唱?！?/div>

The star announced her new album R.O.S.E in September last year, naming the project after her mother who ‘gave her the gift of life’. ‘We give roses or a single rose as a gift with so many different feelings. This is my gift to you.’[/en]
