A Virginia man is arrested and indicted on charges he planned to bomb Washington subway system, budding with people he believed were al-Qaeda operatives. The FBI says they knew the plan all along, the public never in danger. The 34-year-old is a naturalized citizen born in Pakistan.

The same storm that blew through the Midwest brings powerful winds to the south, possibly tornados. Debris littered the ground in Tennessee, near Charlotte, North Carolina, homes collapsed.

More devastation from the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia. Aerial inspection is revealing the extent of the damage. The disaster has killed more than 300 people, many more are missing.

It took an X-ray to finally nail down what was wrong with this basset hound in Colorado. It turns out Sophie swallowed 31 roofing nails, her rabies tag and siding from the house. $3,500 later, Sophie is feeling much better.
