To prevent colours in household linen from running and staining other linen when washed together, coloured things should first be steeped in a solution of salt water. A double handful of salt to a gallon of water is a good propotion, and coloured things should be left to soak in this for about twenty-four hours.
家用亞麻布質(zhì)料的衣服在清洗的時(shí)候容易褪色,還會(huì)給其他亞麻布衣服染色,為了避免這一情況,應(yīng)該先把色彩鮮艷的衣服浸泡在鹽水里。兩把鹽,一加侖水的比例比較合適。將色彩鮮艷的衣服在鹽水里泡大約24小時(shí)就可以了。
