Let's visit Wangfujing Walking Street in Beijing where more than 200 artworks from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region went on display on Tuesday.

On display are many art works with ethnic features distinctive of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. One example is "Avantis," which many visitors will remember from their childhood.

The painting on this bottle gourd is a copy of the fresco at an old town called Qiuci State. The fresco is made of small precious stones from Altay region in Xinjiang.

There are also paintings on rocks, clay figurines using the mud from Xinjiang, and many other vivid artworks on display.

Meanwhile, there are dances and songs performed by people from Xinjiang wearing traditional ethnic costumes.

This exhibition provides visitors an opportunity to learn more about the culture of Xinjiang, bringing the charm of this region to the nation's capital.
