Eight suspects arrested in connection to the brutal torture of two teenage boys and a man in an anti-gay attack in the Bronx, are facing charges. Polices are still looking for a ninth suspect. Polices say the members of Latin King Goonies gang went on a rampage after hearing a rumor that one of their new recruits is gay.

North Korea’s heir apparent has appeared at the massive military parade. Kim Jong Un clapped, waved and even smiled as he sat next to his father Kim Jong Il. They hailed marches at the 65th anniversary of the communist regime’s ruling Workers’ Party.

The government is expected to announce this week that more than 58 million Social Security recipients will go trough another year without an increase in their monthly benefits. It would mark only the second year without an increase since automatic adjustments for inflation were adopted in 1975.

And many couples around the world rushed to marry on 10/10/10. More than 100 couples did so on Sunday in New South Wales, Australia.
