《我們的生活》這部劇的亮點(diǎn)大概在于時(shí)間線和敘事手法，不著痕跡地穿插著兩代人忙亂卻充滿愛的生活。在S01E07中，這天小蘭德爾做題又做到深夜，凱文想喚起他的注意讓他關(guān)燈休息，但是沒想到碰到了小蘭德爾的寶貝毯子，這個(gè)毯子是小蘭德爾被遺棄時(shí)裹的毯子，這讓他很生氣。從此，兩個(gè)小孩子之間的“戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)”開始了。在橄欖球比賽中，蘭德爾和凱文是對(duì)手，在他們比賽的時(shí)候的背景音樂是《Come Talk to Me》。
