在本系列課程中,圣母院大學(xué)提出了“你會為什么而奮斗”這一話題,主要圍繞學(xué)生們和教職人員的研究、學(xué)術(shù)成就和社會行動力展開。本片采取紀(jì)錄片形式,采訪了很多不同的人。
學(xué)院介紹:
圣母大學(xué)(University of Notre Dame)創(chuàng)建于1842年,位于美國印第安那州的南灣市,是一所文理兼顧的著名私立大學(xué)。大學(xué)校風(fēng)嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)、純正,學(xué)生非常熱衷于各項志愿的社會工作,也有大量學(xué)生加入社會事務(wù)中心,幫助照顧老人及傷殘人員。

Our task is to go to where human dignity is being violated and train people and the methods to get in there and change the tide and we've done that in Chile.
Prominent intellectuals from many countries have done research at Kellogg Institute and returned home to make major contributions to building democracies.
I've been a member of Parliament,I've been Secretary of State of Chile.And throughout this process the intellectual,ethical,spiritual,political influence of Kellogg has been so important in my life.
The return to democracy in Chile has changed people's lives.They are happier,they have better jobs,they have a better education.It is a totally new life for millions of Chileans.
