Gulf oil spill overseer Thad Allen says more work is needed to better understand why pressure readings from the new well cap are lower than expected. He says Sunday's testing of the well cap could be extended. BP says the pressure is continuing to build inside the well and the lower pressure is probably because the well is partially depleted.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been meeting with Pakistan's president and prime minister. She's seeking to convince them that the U.S. is committed to the country's long-term development needs, as well as immediate security gains.

Police say eight people were wounded in a burst of gunfire in downtown Indianapolis during the Indiana Black Expo. Two more were hurt in separate shootings that followed. Police say none of the injuries were life threatening.

Speeds in one of Germany's famed autobahns reached zero Sunday as an estimated 3,000,000 people took part in the celebration called "Still Life". They sat at the 37-mile-long table. The region where "Still Life" took place was recently chosen as the European Capital of Culture of 2010.
