Bruschetta with Tomato and Basil Recipe
番茄羅勒烤法棍
Ingredients
材料
* 6 or 7 ripe plum tomatoes (about 1 1/2 lbs)
6到7粒李子番茄(國(guó)外的一種番茄品種,較甜,建議大家用圣女果代替)
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
兩粒大蒜,切碎
* 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil?
一茶匙初榨橄欖油
* 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
一茶匙意大利果醋(可以用蘋果醋代替,但最好別用米醋)
* 6-8 fresh basil leaves, chopped.
6-8片新鮮羅勒葉,切碎(實(shí)在沒有也可以用干羅勒)
* Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
鹽和新鮮碾碎的黑胡椒粒
* 1 baguette French bread or similar Italian bread
一只法棍或者類似的意大利面包
* 1/4 cup olive oil
1/4杯橄欖油
Method
制作方法
1. Prepare the tomatoes first.
Parboil the tomatoes for one minute in boiling water that has just been removed from the burner. Drain. Using a sharp small knife, remove the skins of the tomatoes. (If the tomatoes are too hot, you can protect your finger tips by rubbing them with an ice cube between tomatoes.) Once the tomatoes are peeled, cut them in halves or quarters and remove the seeds and juice from their centers. Also cut out and discard the stem area. Why use plum tomatoes instead of regular tomatoes? The skins are much thicker and there are fewer seeds and less juice.
1. 先把番茄在熱水中滾一分鐘,然后剝皮、去梗,切成塊狀并且去掉籽和汁水。為什么挑選這種品種的番茄就是因?yàn)樗闹^少。
2. Make sure there is a top rack in place in your oven. Turn on the oven to 450°F to preheat.
2. 確保你的烤箱里有架子;預(yù)熱烤箱到450華氏度(約攝氏230度)
3 While the oven is heating, chop up the tomatoes finely. Put tomatoes, garlic, 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, vinegar in a bowl and mix. Add the chopped basil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
3. 預(yù)熱烤箱的同時(shí)把番茄切碎。把番茄、大蒜、初榨橄欖油和醋攪拌均勻。放入切碎的羅勒葉,最后加鹽和胡椒調(diào)味。
4 Slice the baguette on a diagonal about 1/2 inch thick slices. Coat one side of each slice with olive oil using a pastry brush. Place on a cooking sheet, olive oil side down. You will want to toast them in the top rack in your oven, so you may need to do these in batches depending on the size of your oven. Once the oven has reached 450°F, place a tray of bread slices in the oven on the top rack. Toast for 5-6 minutes, until the bread just begins to turn golden brown.
4. 把法棍切成厚片,用一面蘸上橄欖油。讓有油的那面朝下、放上烤架。可能你需要按你的烤箱大小決定分批烘烤??鞠漕A(yù)熱完畢之后就把烤架放進(jìn)去烤5-6分鐘。直到面包開始變得金黃。
5. Align the bread on a serving platter, olive oil side up. Either place the tomato topping in a bowl separately with a spoon for people to serve themselves over the bread, or place some topping on each slice of bread and serve. If you top each slice with the tomatoes, do it right before serving or the bread may get soggy.
5. 把烤好的面包拿出,將剛剛拌好的番茄放在每片面包上。不過最好吃之前再放上去,否則面包會(huì)綿。
小編提醒:如果你沒有烤箱也沒關(guān)系,這道菜完全可以用平底鍋完成,只要把面包蘸上橄欖油,放入平底鍋里煎,效果和烤箱一樣!另外如果你喜歡芝士,也可以在吃的時(shí)候加上一點(diǎn),味道會(huì)很棒哦!
