One of the two routes, the eastern one starts from Mohe in Heilongjiang province and the other one, the western route starts from Manzhouli. The two BMW convoys will meet at Ha'erbin, Heilongjiang province at the end of the tour. Besides driving and exploring, Shao Bin says that promoting public welfare is another main theme of the X-Tour. "In the past five years, the BMW X-Tour has donated 3,300,000 yuan to BMW Warm-Hart Fund. The money were mainly used for educational projects in underdeveloped areas of China. We also organize visits for clients to the schools and projects where the funds are spent. This year, the X-Tour will carry on its spirit of public welfare."
