    我們?cè)偬魬?zhàn)一個(gè)句子: Babies marking their second birthday despite having been born only weeks before have milk. 這個(gè)句子有多少同學(xué)看得懂呢?我相信這里的單詞,都不難,但是一定有很多看不懂。 如何判斷一個(gè)句子自己是否讀懂了呢?是把認(rèn)識(shí)的單詞都堆在一起看是什么意思嗎?很多同學(xué)的確是這樣做的。 那么如何判斷自己讀的一個(gè)句子意思是正確的呢?答案是結(jié)構(gòu),主干構(gòu)架結(jié)構(gòu)。 一個(gè)句子的框架會(huì)包含這個(gè)句子最核心的意思和最主要的意思。 主謂賓找到了之后,直接根據(jù)主謂賓理解,這個(gè)句子的大意就是:主語(yǔ)做了什么事情。 于是,這就講到了影響句子讀懂與否的第二個(gè)核心要素---語(yǔ)法。 詞匯和語(yǔ)法是影響同學(xué)們英語(yǔ)閱讀理解中最核心的兩個(gè)基礎(chǔ)要素。雅思中所考查的語(yǔ)法就是從句和非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞,這兩個(gè)組合在一起就是長(zhǎng)難句。 在長(zhǎng)難句中,一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的句子主干會(huì)通過(guò)加從句,加各種修飾成分等而變長(zhǎng)和變難的。長(zhǎng)難句的處理核心就是教會(huì)大家找主干,分清修飾成分。 剛才的句子:Babies marking their second birthday despite having been born only weeks before have milk.主干其實(shí)就是:Babies have milk. 嬰兒們喝奶。 而其他成分就是修飾成分了,讓句子內(nèi)容和信息量變豐富的內(nèi)容,但是,核心意思是主干決定的。如下句: In the early 1950s, historians who studied preindustrial Europe(which we maydefine here as Europe in the period from roughly 1300 to 1800) began, for the first time in large numbers, to investigate more of the preindustrial European population than the 2 or 3 percent who comprised the political and social elite: the kings, generals, judges, bishops, and local magnates who had hiterto usually filled the history books. 根據(jù)長(zhǎng)難句處理的核心方法快速找到主干,就發(fā)現(xiàn)這個(gè)句子其實(shí)非常簡(jiǎn)單。這個(gè)句子的主干是: In the early 1950s, historians who studied preindustrial Europe(which we may define here as Europe in the period from roughly 1300 to 1800) began, for the first time in large numbers, to investigate more of the preindustrial European population than the 2 or 3 percent who comprised the political and social elite: the kings, generals, judges, bishops, and local magnates who had hiterto usually filled the history books.     Video Text: The [??] diphthong. This sound combines the aw as in law with the ih as in sit. Though I have found in practice, as with many diphthongs, that the vowels within this diphthong are not quite so pure as they are when they stand alone. So with the aw as in law, I actually find it to be a little closer to the oh, as in the first sound of no. It does assume the same mouth position, aw, the cheeks come in a little bit and the lips round and come out, aw, law, but rather than saying an aw sound here, it's a little bit more like an oh. And to make that [w]differentiation[/w] in the sound, the tongue comes up a little higher in the back than it does in the aw, law, pure sound by itself. Oy, o, oy. The second sound: the ih as in sit. Ih, ih, oy. I sort feel at times like it's ih with a little bit mix of an ee as in she though it certainly is not oyee, the lips don't come out that far. Oy, oy, oy. So as you can see, o, the tongue is raised in the back more so you see the darkness in the mouth: o, oy... and there you see the tongue come forward for the ih, ih, ih.
