《機(jī)械師》主要講述一個(gè)殺手與他導(dǎo)師的故事，亞瑟入行多年，在自己以前的搭檔哈里的幫助下，已經(jīng)成為一個(gè)出色的殺人機(jī)器。亞瑟接到一項(xiàng)新任務(wù)，暗殺對(duì)象是哈里。雖然亞瑟不忍下手，但在清楚的得知哈里難逃一死之后，最終還是決定親自送哈里一程。哈里的兒子史蒂夫?yàn)榱颂娓笀?bào)仇，決意要跟隨亞瑟學(xué)習(xí)。在亞瑟的訓(xùn)練下，史蒂夫逐漸掌握了作為一個(gè)機(jī)械師所必備的技能，與亞瑟合作完成一項(xiàng)又一項(xiàng)暗殺任務(wù)。雖然亞瑟從未告訴史蒂夫殺害哈里的兇手，但史蒂夫還是知道了其父被害為亞瑟所為，復(fù)仇的火焰在史蒂夫心中逐漸升騰……
