【內(nèi)容簡介】

女孩喬伊被鄰居所騙，之后被囚禁在一個狹小的房間里長達七年之久。在此期間她遭到強奸，并生下了兒子杰克。和所有媽媽一樣，喬伊也竭盡全力為孩子創(chuàng)造一個安全和開心的成長氛圍，雖然他們被困在一個不到10平米的房間里，但通過幻想喬伊為兒子創(chuàng)造了一個神奇的世界。不過隨著一天天長大，杰克的好奇心使他不再滿足于這個世界，于是喬伊精心策劃、帶著杰克逃出了那個囚禁他們的房間。然而，逃出來后這對脫離社會太長時間的母子才發(fā)現(xiàn)，現(xiàn)實世界才是最讓他們害怕的。

該片是一部小格局的獨立片，基本上是兩個人的獨角戲以及不多的場景，但是獨特的視角與殘酷感人的故事卻打動了很多人的心。該部電影獲得第88屆奧斯卡多項提名，女主角布麗·拉爾森更是一舉獲得了奧斯卡金像獎最佳女主角的殊榮。?

Joey：Yeah, we could, but...?then what??We'd run out of food?and we don't know the code to the door.

Jack：Hey, the Grandma and the Grandpa could come.
