Kate Winslet has revealed that she has seen some footage from the new 3D rendering of Titanic and is “excited” for its release.

Titanic broke box office records when it was released in 1997, and is now being turned into a 3D flick by director, James Cameron.

Winslet has said that she is excited but she cringed while watching her own performance.

The actress was very emotional when she was quoted as saying:

“I was literally like, ‘Oh my god, make it stop! Is that me? Oh my god, that’s me. Block my ears, somebody! Somebody club out my senses. Make it stop!’ And Leo looks so young and so skinny.”

“I’m sure I wasn’t really a very good actress. Seriously, we are talking about something that happened 15 years ago. It is a very long time ago. I’ve learned so much, and I’ve changed as a person so much since then. It is really quite weird.”

Titanic is the latest movie to get re-released in 3D. Disney has had major successes with the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast in 3D, while George Lucas released the first of his six Star Wars films in 3D last weekend.

3DTVwatcher is just hoping that Winslet said “make it stop” simply because she was uncomfortable seeing herself 15 years ago, rather than the 3D format adding nothing to the already over-celebrated film…

3D《泰坦尼克號(hào)》已確定引進(jìn)中國(guó)，將于4月10日登陸內(nèi)地，大導(dǎo)演詹姆斯·卡梅隆本人也將出席第二屆北京國(guó)際電影季開幕式及中外電影合作之路論壇。凱特和《泰坦尼克號(hào)》的粉絲們屆時(shí)可以一飽眼福了。 ?
