  蔡嗣經(jīng),男,1952年10月生,江西南昌人,曾在澳大利亞新南威爾士大學(xué)和日本京都大學(xué)留學(xué),獲碩士和博士學(xué)位。現(xiàn)任北京科技大學(xué)教授、博士生導(dǎo)師、教務(wù)處處長。曾先后為本科生、碩士生、博士生主講多門課程;指導(dǎo)已畢業(yè)碩士研究生十余名、已畢業(yè)和在讀博士生三十余名。獲省部級(jí)教學(xué)成果一等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、二等獎(jiǎng)2項(xiàng)。主要科研方向?yàn)椋海?)礦床開采理論與技術(shù),著重于采礦理論與方法、礦山巖土力學(xué)、礦山新技術(shù)等方面的研究;(2)采礦工程計(jì)算機(jī)模擬及應(yīng)用研究;(3)礦山安全技術(shù)工程研究。自1980年以來在國內(nèi)外發(fā)表科技論文100余篇,出版專著2本,參編學(xué)術(shù)著作3種,獲省部級(jí)科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)3項(xiàng),三等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)。

  Dr. Sijing CAI, male, borne in October, 1952 and in the Jiangxi province, CHINA, is a chair professor of mining engineering in the Department of resources engineering,
School of civil and environmental engineering, University of Science & Technology Beijing (USTB), and the Dean of Education administration Office, USTB. He is also
a member of Degree committee and a member of Academic affairs committee of USTB, a member of safety engineering education guidance committee supported by the
China ministry of education. He has given lectures both for undergraduate and postgraduate students on various subjects, and a number of postgraduate students both for
master degree and Ph.D. degree had been or is under his supervision. In recent years, he has received one First-class reward and two Second-class rewards on Education
achievement from the Beijing City government or from the China ministry of education.
The most interesting research areas for Professor CAI are that:
(1)Advancedtechnologies in mining engineering, especially for development of new mining methods, geomechanics, new mining equipment, and new techniques;
(2)Computer modeling and its application in mining industry;
(3)Safety technology and safety engineering both in mining and in general industries. Since 1980, he has published 5 technical books and more than 100 papers.
