求職攻略:面試前需要準(zhǔn)備的四件事

面試官僅僅依靠其簡(jiǎn)歷,是遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠的。特別是對(duì)大公司來(lái)說(shuō),必須對(duì)應(yīng)聘者進(jìn)行面試。有些企業(yè)在招聘過(guò)程中,可以忽略筆試,但決不省略面試,從中可以看出面試的重要性。所以求職者要提前準(zhǔn)備面試,做好準(zhǔn)備工作了解公司、了解工作崗位、如何著裝、準(zhǔn)備簡(jiǎn)歷和自我介紹。
?Before your interview, there are some things you can do to maximise your chances of getting the job.
在面試前,有幾件事你可以準(zhǔn)備起來(lái),最大化自己得到工作的機(jī)會(huì)。
一、Research the company and the job thoroughly
徹底研究公司和工作
Get acquainted with the organisation’s size, history and reputation. You could do this online, through the company’s website, or at a local library. If you know someone who works there, he or she would be a good source of information. You may not be asked about this information but it will help you understand the job.
了解這個(gè)組織的規(guī)模、歷史和聲譽(yù)。你可以上這個(gè)公司的官網(wǎng)了解或是在當(dāng)?shù)貓D書(shū)館找些資料。如果你認(rèn)識(shí)在那里工作的人,那會(huì)是更好的信息來(lái)源。在面試時(shí)可能不會(huì)問(wèn)到此類問(wèn)題,但是這些信息能幫你更了解這個(gè)公司。
二、Learn about how the interview will be conducted
了解面試會(huì)如何組織
For example, it is not impolite to ask how long the interview will take; it shows you are serious about the proceedings. Once you know approximately how long it will last, you can prepare how you will pace yourself and which are the most important points you want to make. Make sure you don‘t arrange any appointments immediately after the interview. You don’t want to feel rushed and, besides, it might stretch on beyond the specified time.
盡量去。比如,你大可以問(wèn)面試會(huì)進(jìn)行多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間,這不會(huì)顯得自己不禮貌、而會(huì)讓對(duì)方覺(jué)得你對(duì)面試很上心。一旦你知道面試時(shí)間,你就可以為如何把握面試節(jié)奏做準(zhǔn)備,想想哪些是你在面試中一定想要表達(dá)的點(diǎn)。注意:不要在面試后安排任何時(shí)間很近的事兒。你總不想面試時(shí)慌慌張張的吧?另外,指不準(zhǔn)面試時(shí)間又延長(zhǎng)了呢?
三、Dress code
著裝要求
The company may have a dress code that you’ll need to know about. What is appropriate depends on the particular employer and job but it is better to dress formally whilst remaining comfortable. Men should dress conservatively with a tie and business suit. A fresh haircut and a shave will help and no chewing gum or cigarettes. Also only wear your wedding ring, if married, take out any earrings and cover any tattoos!
你面試的公司可能對(duì)著裝也有些要求。具體穿什么也要看你的雇主或是行業(yè),但總的說(shuō)來(lái),穿正式點(diǎn)兒同時(shí)穿的舒服點(diǎn)絕對(duì)沒(méi)錯(cuò)。作為男士應(yīng)該穿西裝、系領(lǐng)帶。最 好能剪個(gè)清爽的頭型、剃干凈胡子,不要嚼口香糖、不要抽煙。除非你結(jié)婚了要帶上戒指之外,其他所有的耳釘、紋身統(tǒng)統(tǒng)藏起來(lái)!

Information gather is extremely important at this stage of the game.
如果把placement和promotion僅僅限定在一次找工作的過(guò)程中,那么地點(diǎn)可能就是一次面試,或者一次招聘會(huì),而promotion可能就是招聘者推銷自己的方式,可能是招聘者的一次簡(jiǎn)短的介紹(short presentation),或者一份漂亮的簡(jiǎn)歷等。作為學(xué)生,就是多多利用現(xiàn)有的資源,比如收集網(wǎng)上的公司的資料、廣告,參加招聘會(huì)和聽(tīng)取一些成功人士的求職經(jīng)歷,結(jié)合自己的實(shí)際情況,取長(zhǎng)補(bǔ)短,把自己successfully sell出去。
