《金枝欲孽》劇情簡(jiǎn)介：清嘉慶十五年，后宮里的女人們明爭(zhēng)暗斗，皇后和如妃已經(jīng)事成水火，再加上新入宮的一群秀女，其各自背后的勢(shì)力，明里暗里，爾虞我詐。此外，御醫(yī)孫白楊、市井貧農(nóng)孔武、宮女安茜等人，也逐漸卷入這一場(chǎng)紛爭(zhēng)之中……最后逃出皇宮的人，還有沒(méi)有勇氣和希望，去繼續(xù)新的生活呢？

第九集后半段中，爾淳和徐公公繼續(xù)謀劃將來(lái)的計(jì)劃，由于玉瑩愈發(fā)得到如妃賞識(shí)，爾淳急著將功補(bǔ)過(guò)想對(duì)玉瑩下手，而徐公公卻另有打算。

爾淳：爾淳注意到，自從封為答應(yīng)之后，玉瑩更加得到如妃娘娘的照顧，我怕日子一長(zhǎng)，就更難離間她們之間的感情。
英文字幕：I've noticed Madam Yue has taken Yuk-ying under her wing especially after she's been selected. I'm afraid the longer we wait the harder it will be to get between them.

知識(shí)點(diǎn)1：
離間感情：get/come between them，處于兩人中間，能做什么事呢？肯定不是好事！這個(gè)短語(yǔ)看起來(lái)很簡(jiǎn)單，卻是很形象的表述，在美劇和電影中也經(jīng)常能聽(tīng)到，很native speaker的感覺(jué)呢~

挑撥離間其實(shí)還有一句英文諺語(yǔ)：cast in a bone between sb:
eg1.By this means she cast in a bone between the wife and husband.
她用這種手段離間這對(duì)夫妻。 （小三?。?/span>

徐公公：我也知道你很著急想為往日的事將功補(bǔ)過(guò)，不過(guò)事情不發(fā)生也發(fā)生了，在這個(gè)時(shí)候不要放在心里。風(fēng)沙又起了，你回去吧。
英文字幕：I know you're anxious to right the wrong, but bygones are bygones. Do not keep reminding yourself of it. The sandstorms are due, hurry back!

知識(shí)點(diǎn)2：
right the wrong，第一眼看是不是有點(diǎn)頭暈?zāi)?，又是right又是wrong的。其實(shí)“right”也能做動(dòng)詞使用：correct itself/sth 糾正或改正某事物。

eg2.The fault will right itself if you give it time.
只要過(guò)一些時(shí)候，這個(gè)毛病就能自行更正了。

將功補(bǔ)過(guò)——right the wrong，很驚艷的翻譯，學(xué)習(xí)了^^

風(fēng)沙又起：the sandstorms are due，這里我們來(lái)研究研究due這個(gè)單詞：due for sth--應(yīng)有，應(yīng)得到；due to do sth--預(yù)計(jì)，預(yù)期；due to sb--由某人引起。

eg3.She's due for promotion soon.
她不久就要晉升了。

eg4.His book is due to be published in October.
他的書(shū)預(yù)定十月份出版。

eg5.The team's success was largely due to her efforts.
該隊(duì)的成功在很大程度上是由于她的努力。

孫白楊：應(yīng)該這么說(shuō)，下官相信夫人你們一定會(huì)關(guān)心一些還有利用價(jià)值的棋子。至于沒(méi)有利用價(jià)值的，就會(huì)棄之如舊衣履，甚至忘記。
英文字幕：Let me put it this way, I believe Madam will care about games pieces still of value. As for those which are no longer useful, it will be discarded as old shoes and maybe even forgotten.

知識(shí)點(diǎn)3：
棋類(lèi)游戲中的棋子英文是chessman，但這里用的是引申義，翻譯為chessman顯然不合適。game pieces游戲中的一部分，game這個(gè)英文單詞本身就不單單有簡(jiǎn)單游戲的意思。

棄之如舊衣履--discarded as old shoes，discard表示拋棄，丟棄：If you discard something, you get rid of it because you no longer want it or need it.

他被歷史所拋棄。
