In a meeting with local educators and officials, Wang Yang said the time was ripe to rid the province of such transitional posts for the benefit of both students and the teachers themselves.

上面的報(bào)道中，substitute teacher就是“代課教師”的英文表達(dá)，維基百科上面對(duì)substitute teacher的定義是：a person who teaches a school class when the regular teacher is unavailable (e.g., because of illness, personal leave, or other reasons)，從這里我們也看到，“正式在編教師”的英文表達(dá)就是regular teacher。不過，不同的國家對(duì)“代課教師”的說法也不盡相同，我們這里所說的substitute teacher在美國和加拿大比較常用，英國和愛爾蘭通常用supply teacher來表示，而在澳大利亞和新西蘭則更傾向于用relief teacher。
